It could be supposed that at the moment of battle of Kursk in the summer of 1943 the Soviet infantry was weaker than the Wehrmachts infantry with technical means, but it had been totally compensated with incredible courage. Furthermore, the Russian armys old tradition of self-organisation was kept: even after losing of all officers troops were able to fight with the same stubbornness.
