Plastic Model Kit by Advent The USS Ticonderoga was a WWII-built Essex Class US Navy aircraft carrier originally with straight flight deck as built and later modified with an angled flight deck, as in this model. Served in the Pacific in late WWII, in the Vietnam War, and in active service in various capacities as an attack carrier and antisubmarine carrier until decommissioned in 1973.Model is 21.5 inches long (1/500 Scale). Molded in grey plastic. Single piece waterline hull, single piece detailed angled flight deck and optional position elevators. Details include planes,1960's era Skywarriors and others, some shown with folded wings, helicopter, defensive guns, aircraft handling deck tow vehicle, movable crane, lifeboats, detailed island with radar mast, deck antennae, rudder and four propellers and shafts.Vintage kit, new, box originally unsealed, Single piece waterline hull and single piece detailed engraved angled flight deck separate in box, all other plastic parts loose (display stands) &/or on sprues in plastic bag.Overall Excellent Condition
