Streamline Pictures 1:25 Speed Racer Mach 5 Model Kit

STREAMLINE PICTURES 1:25 SPEED RACER MACH 5 MODEL KIT, 1992, RARE, NIB This cold cast resin model is long out of production and was made by a small company in the United States called Streamline Pictures. I have had it since new - box is still never opened, still wrapped in plastic. This model has the optional metal saw blades that extend from the front of the car. The last photo is a screen capture of an internet photo of an assembled model. From a webpage description of someone who built the model: The packing in the box is shredded paper; as it came from the manufacturer, and interestingly enough it has names and other info that can be made out on it. The casting for the Mach 5 body was also signed on the underside. The body, chassis and seats are resin while the windshield and headlight covers are clear plastic. The tires are rubber and the wheels, steering wheel, mirrors, saw blades and other items are metal. This is a rare find for the Speed Racer fan and collector.
