Revell Highway Scenes '60 Corvette W/ Die-Cut Coral Court Motel Route

(Assembled diorama and built models not included) Here we have a mint unbuilt Revell Highway Scenes 1960 (really a 59) Corvette kit. The Highway Scenes series was the brainchild of Revell's Dean Milano, and was originally concieved as the Route 66 series. Alas, another company held the copyright. While this kit does have a multi-piece body, it practically falls together and builds an excellent replica of later C1 Corvette. Far superior to the SMP/AMT kit, or even the MPC kit from a few years later. Check out that gorgeous platform style interior. The door panel detail. Check out that amazing set of decals! The photo (and this kit you could be purchasing) appeared in the Vintage Workbench column in issue 215 of Model Cars magazine. The black Corvette was built from this same kit but features stock wheel covers from the MPC 60 Corvette.
