This is the Pontos Blue deck for the USS Texas, BB-35 from WW II in 1:350 scale. The Blue deck is for people modeling the ship during wartime, when the normally teak-tone wooden decks were painted blue as a camoflage measure. It was part of the Pontos #35024F1 detail up set and a picture of the box containing this wood deck is attached, where you can see the label specifying "Texas 1945 20B Blue". This is a long-discontinued detail set which is only available on the secondary market (like e-Bay). I bought it, even though I wanted the peacetime teak tone decks, because the BB-35 detail sets are very scarce and you take what you can find. A teak tone deck, alone, is readily available from vendors other than Pontos and I bought one for my use. As a consequence, I am selling this "Blue Deck", only (not the whole Pontos detail up set), for someone modeling the ship as it appeared during wartime. The pictures show the back of the blue decks, as well as the blue side because the blue side is too dark to show up in a picture easily and there is "print thru" of the decking on the back to show what it looks like. I an currently building CV-6 Enterprise in 1:200 and I wanted the blue deck for it, but could not find one; so I am making this "excess to me" blue deck set available for someone who may need it for their own project.
