I bought this a long time ago and just put it on a shelf. I've seen another auction that said this was "battery powered", but I don't see anything on the box that makes me think that. (however, I can't read Japanese so...) Seal on the bottom edge is still there, but the one on the top was broken. Never removed from box.
Box is in a very good condition with some minor whitening on a couple edges.
