Hello, I am the 2004 Tamiya Master Modeler (Tamiya/con champion). I built this one in 2012. It's straight from box way. There are no custom detail ups.
This is one of a kind model. I built this for myself and didn't/won't build for others.
The reason I am selling this is that I found more interesting things to do than scale modeling.when I was 46 (14 years ago). I was a businessman for a Japanese brokerage firm for over 20 years and scale modeling was my hobby to ease my stress. I decided to quit my job and pursue my dream from my childhood which is working for the movie industry with my modeling skill and made it!. I became a CG modeler and have worked for many movies. Since I found what I wanted to do for a job, I am satisfied and don't need a hobby anymore. I basically stopped scale modeling from then. I am turning 60 soon and sorting out my stuff in the house which dominate large spaces.
Peninsula SPCA is the place where I adopted three of my cats. They are my important family members and have eased my life. I hope this sale could help them a bit. I will carefully pack this for shipping, however it might break some parts during transportation. Please fix it by your side. You could buy additional insurance for transportation.
