MPC 1:12 Walt Disney’s Haunted Mansion Model Kit Series: Play It Again, Sam
This is the kit produced in 1974, not a contemporary repro. Here you will have “Sam” playing it again (as it should be) rather than “Tony” (um…who?).
The box is inappropriately large considering the contents so has suffered some slight squishing over the past 50 years. The sides are a little scuffed. The colors are bright and the print is sharp.
I did an inventory (which was great fun BTW) and only found one small missing item. See photo with pipe organs: In the center of the photo is a small metal rod. There is only one with the kit, you’ll have to source another. Seems like a paper clip will do the job nicely.
There are pictures of the instruction manual showing how the mechanism works. So elegant! So much fun!
The parts are beautifully detailed, the instructions are clear, this should be a joy to put together.
