Chevrolet C15 4x4 GS Truck with 2C1 Body and rear Tilt Cover (No.13 Cab) December 1939 and following the Dunkirk retreat, with most of the British equipment left in France, Canada became pivotable in supplying automotive equipment to the British Empire forces. Produced by Ford and General Motors Corporation (Chevrolet), between 1939 and 1945 they produced 815,729 vehicles and 50,663 AFV's as well countless other items of military hardware. This particular model represents the Canadian Military Pattern light truck supplied with the late iconic No.13 pattern cab. They saw action everywhere from the North African campaign, in Italy, in NW Europe and by the Axis in North Africa and the Balkans. These models are imported from Milicast in the United Kingdom and are first quality.
