Partially built Rare, collectable kit Gunze Sangyo HONDA CR110 Road Racing Motorcycle Kit G-630
(this is the later version of the G-251 kit) 1:12 Scale Beautifully detailed kit of Honda's popular road racing motorcycle The CR110 is the production racer version of the RC110 factory road racer The Honda factory RC110 finished in 1st and 2nd place at the U.S Grand Prix in 1962
Of interest: Two different CR110 models were produced by the Japanese manufacturer; a five-speed road-going model complete with lights and silencers that made 7hp at 12,700rpm, and a racing version that boasted eight gears and made 8.5hp at 13,500rpm. This model kit is an example is the latter. Interestingly, Soichiro Honda played a hands-on role in the creation of the RC and CR 110’s, reportedly putting in countless hours working on developing the now iconic motorcycle. Soichiro Honda's hard work and devotion gave birth to a beloved machine that’s now cherished by collectors and vintage motorcycle enthusiasts around the world. Features: • Diecast metal parts • Photo-etched parts • Precision plastic parts • Rubber racing tires • Cables, wires • Display/work stand If you are not already familiar with the Gunze motorcycle kits, you will be impressed. They are some of the most detailed and highest quality kits made. The wheels have individual spokes and must be laced by hand.
