New Old Stock (NOS) Super rare, collectable kit Please read the complete listing Gunze Sangyo HONDA CB92 Motorcycle Kit G-615 Beautifully detailed kit of Honda's popular sport road motorcycle The CB92 was one of the company's early small displacement sport bikes that help build Honda's reputation for high performing, reliable bikes. Released in 1959, the CB92 is still a motorcycle fan favorite. The CB92 is the origin of the "CB" series. With the removal of just a few parts, the CB92 became a race-worth machine.
Of interest: The frame & front fork were a pressed steel, fully-welded design. Front suspension was a leading-link design and the rear a traditional swingarm. It's 125cc engine produced 15hp 10,500rpm! Model Features: • Stamped brass parts • Diecast metal parts • Photo-etched parts • Precision plastic parts • Rubber tires • Cables, wires • Center stand If you are not already familiar with the Gunze motorcycle kits, you will be impressed. They are some of the most detailed and highest quality kits made. The wheels have individual spokes and must be laced by hand. Parts are either precision diecast metal or plastic with photo-etched parts for even more detail. These kits are f or the advanced modeler. In the hands of skilled modeler, a super-realistic model is possible The CB92 kit (G-615), in my opinion, is one of Gunze's finest. The frame is properly replicated in stamped brass as are the fuel tank and fenders. The engine is built from numerous small die-cast white metal parts as are the swingarm, handlebars, etc. Very few plastic parts are used. Brand new, never assembled kit Parts in their original bags & inner boxes The box of this kit is highly distressed. It was stored in a corrugated box that got damp and some of that moisture transferred to the kit box. All the parts, instructions and other paperwork is accounted for and in excellent condition. Luckily, only the retail box was damaged. In other words, it looks ugly on the outside, but all is good on the inside! ;-) My pricing for this kit takes into account the condition of the box.
