AMRAAM Flying Model Rocket Kit 42" tall, 2" Diameter, 29mm motor mount, using Estes Pro Series Parts
This is a sport scale model of the AMRAAM (Advanced, Medium Range, Air to Air Missile) used by the Air Force. The AMRAAM is a cool-looking, eight-fin rocket that is wicked in combat and on the flying field. This mid-power kit is one of our easier to assemble kits because it comes with pre-slotted tubes and slotted rings making it easy to get the fins on straight. This kit is still an advanced build, however, since you must add significant nose weight in order to make it balance and be stable in flight.
This kit comes with pre-slotted tubes, a coupler, plastic nose cone, two inside tubes for fin mounting, laser-cut plywood fins and rings, along with a Kevlar brand shock cord and 1/4" launch lugs. This kit comes with a detailed painting and marking guide and self-adhesive decals.
This is an advanced construction kit, requiring you to add nose weight to make it flyable. Do not attempt to fly this rocket without nose weight

No parachute or motor retention is included so that you can use your favorite method.
This is a mid-power rocket and requires that you follow the NAR safety code to fly it.
