1/650 Uss Enterprise E Model Kit

For sale is an aftermarket garage kit of the USS Enterprise-E from "First Contact". This model a 1/650 scale, measures 40" L x 14" W x 7" T, designed to match size with the Polar Lights 1/350 USS Enterprise and my 1/350 Reliant. The model is made from a combination of fiberglass and resin. The nacelles, primary and secondary hulls are fiberglass that have been tinted to diffuse the lighting inside. All of the windows and the chiller grills on the nacelles have been molded into the model to make lighting and finishing easier. The tinting that was used in a UV stable tent meant for epoxy. It keeps the epoxy from yellowing over time and prevents it from yellowing even if it is left in direct sunlight. The pylons are made from a light weight yet very durable Urethane resin. The pylons have 2 rods through them for wiring. The model includes several small 3d printed parts such as the torpedo launchers, deflector dish, shuttle bay doors, and NAV housings. The officers yacht and observation room are made from Urethane resin. The impulse engines are laser etched acrylic. Great for light diffusion . There are also 3 full decal sheets for this model with a decal application guide and instruction manual. This model would make a fantastic addition to anyone's Star Trek collection.
