AMBULANCE CONVERSION KIT for TAMIYA Sd.Kfz.251/8 D MR MODELLBAU 1/35 SCALE KIT MR-52 (Now MR-35052) NEW BUT OPEN BOX The box has been opened but all parts appear to be present (see pictures). This exceptionally detailed kit allows you to convert the Tamiya Infantry Half-track Sd.Kfz.251 model kits (#'s 35151 - Stuka Zu Fuss and 35195 - SPW Sd.Kfz.251/1 Ausf.D). Scalemates also reports that it works with AFV Club No. AF35S26, AFV Club No. AF35063, and Tamiya/Italeri No. 89716 which makes sense given they are all 1/35 scale models of the Sd.Kfz.251 half-track. The German Sd.Kfz.251 infantry half-track was one of the most versatile vehicles in the Wehrmacht. It was built in the Ausf A, B, C and D configurations however, there was also the /8 version of the D that had a raised floor plate in the rear as well as movable rails and foldable brackets fro two stretchers fitted to the right side of the vehicle. The configuration could hold two wounded on stretchers and four ambulatory wounded sitting opposite or eight ambulatory wounded with the stretchers folded up. This kit includes the floor plate, additional aide wall panels, bench seats, folded seats, back rests for the folded seats, stretcher cases, folded stretcher cases, rods, beams and rails for the stretcher cases and various brackets and connectors for the configuration. It also has a driver's seat with back rest, molded resin "canvas" roof, red cross bad, equipemnet bag, folded blankets, buckets, bowls, and boxes all to help bring your model to life. I am cleaning out items that I have acquired over the years from auctions, “going out of business” sales, etc. Most items are old and, while they may be ‘new’ and unused, they may have some wear on the outside of the box from being moved around. Everything is sold as is and I will do my best to provide an accurate description. Pictures show condition and are part of description and what you see is what you get. All NEW items are either sealed in factory shrink wrap or sealed in some other way. If the outer box is not sealed, then the contents are sealed in their original manufacturer bags inside the box.
