Cottage Industry Models has released a 1/24nd scale Hunley kit has been completely re-mastered and updated to reflect the most recent information about the submarine as taken from direct observation and measurements from the real artifacts. This kit has been, and remains, the most accurate model of the Hunley anywhere in the world. Now, it has been made even better and more technically accurate. This is probably the most complex kit They offer. It is really for advanced modelers, but a very nice looking item when done . The kit will be shipped directly from the Cottage Industry Models warehouse. Because these kits are handmade, they may require the molds to be recast at times. Therefore, there may be extended delays in shipping, sometimes up to two weeks. In most cases, the kits are ready to go and will ship within a couple of days. Full manufacture's warranty direct from CIM. Sorry, there are no returns on these kits.
